Chandigarh LADCS Recruitment 2025: Apply Now for Clerk and Other Post
State Legal Services Authority, U.T. Chandigarh has announced recruitment for full-time Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsels and Office Assistant/Clerk under the Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS). This recruitment is completely on contractual basis and is for providing free legal aid in criminal cases. The lawyers selected under this system will not be allowed to do private practice and will be fully dedicated to criminal legal aid work. This system is similar to the public defender model introduced by NALSA. The recruitment is for Chandigarh district and the contract will be valid initially for 2 years, which may be extended yearly based on performance. Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline through post or by submitting the form in person. The last date to apply is 26 May 2025.
